THE SYNTOPY PLATFORM
TopologicPy
An open-source Python library for spatial modelling and analysis in architecture, engineering and construction.
OVERVIEW
Geometry with relationships.
Combine shapes, connectivity and information in one computational model. Non-manifold topology lets points, curves, surfaces and volumes coexist while preserving adjacency.
Use Python scripts or notebooks to investigate spaces and build analytical workflows.
What you can build
- Spatial models
- Construct and query geometry with attached information.
- Graphs & analysis
- Explore paths, centrality, visibility and graph machine learning.
- Interoperable workflows
- Work with IFC, BREP, OBJ, DXF and other formats.
Installation
Conda is recommended and includes the PythonOCC geometry backend.
conda create -n topologicpy -c conda-forge topologicpy
conda activate topologicpyAlternatively, install from PyPI. A geometry backend is required.
pip install topologicpy --upgradeCheck PyPI for current requirements, dependencies and releases.
Semantics & knowledge graphs
Represent spatial relationships using RDF, RDFS and OWL, with connections to BIM and linked building data.
